The Area

Located just west of the Clinton Presidential Library site, The Jacimore Building is an ideal location for just about any commercial vendor.  Centrally located, it is only a half-block from the new First Security Building with a 650 vehicle parking deck, and street parking is also available.

The River Market District is one of the fastest growing areas in the vicinity and is set to be a central hub for explosive growth in the next century.  Entertainment and restaurant venues have blossomed in the area bringing a large following from locals as well as out of state visitors.
   
1. Heifer Project International:  Heifer International is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help end world hunger and poverty through self-reliance and sustainability.

2. Clinton Presidential Library: The Clinton Presidential Library showcases the history and legacy of America's 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001.  The library houses a museum featuring exhibits, special events and educational programs which regularly attracts visitors from across the united states.

3. Marriott Courtyard:  Within walking distance of the Jacimore Building, the Courtyard Marriott is another great facet to Little Rock's Downtown River Market District.  Business and leisure travelers enjoy the amenities of this hotel finding its location to be second to none.

6. Julius Breckling Riverfront Park:  Riverfront Park stretches  for eleven blocks on the south bank of the Arkansas River in Downtown Little Rock.  The park provides 33 acres of urban parkland for outdoor events, leisure activities and a glimpse of the states history.  The park abuts the rear of the Jacimore Building.

7. The River Market District:  The east end of downtown Little Rock was once a collection of unused warehouses and forgotten businesses.  Today this area is brimming with dining and drinking establishments, eclectic shops and outdoor entertainment venues year round. Restaurants in the area range from the upscale to the casual and the market itself offers exciting ethnic food and standard fare.  The area is connected to North Little Rock by street car which has stops within walking distance of the Jacimore Building.

8. 300 Third Condos:  Situated on the northeast corner of Third and Cumberland, the 300 third tower is a landmark structure for residents and downtown visitors as they arrive in the city.  Offering residents views of the Arkansas River, the River Market, The Clinton Presidential Library and the downtown skyline.

10. Little Rock Library: Part of the Central Arkansas Library system, with over 132,000 sq ft of floor space, you can read to your hearts content.  It offers a computer lab, dedicated areas for children and teens, reading rooms and an extensive reference department.

11. Dickey-Stephens Park:  Home of the Arkansas Travelers minor league baseball team, Dickey-Stephens Park has become one of the city's Chief attractions.  The park is across the Arkansas River and is accessible via street car or the new junction bridge pedestrian walkway.
